Cameron did a great job fixing my AC unit after the dormant winter season. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part on hand to fix it and got it back running in top shape. He took extra time to explain some good maintenance practices I can do to keep my unit running strong and longer than average.

Mathew was amazing! I had a new furnace installed in December by Norco... and they didn't finish the job hooking it up to my AC unit. Mathew fixed Norcos mistake with ease. He was polite, courteous, and professional. He deserves a raise! Thank you Mathew for you amazing work.

Chris was my tech. He was Great. They were fast and fixed my self inflicted problem and got my AC up and running for a very fair price. Just our luck, our furnace shut down in the very cold weather on a Friday. The HVAC co were using could not get to us for 6 days, as well as not offering 24/7 emergency response. We called Hurliman Heating first thing Saturday AM and had a tech here shortly thereafter. He replaced our blower unit and the house was warm again. Jerry, the tech, was very professional and did a great job. I was going to leave a review for Kyle Miller using the link that you provided to me. Unfortunately, I can’t get into the link. So I’ll just give the review in this email. I found Kyle to be very professional in doing his work replacing my furnace. I was especially pleased in the fact that he accomplished this task in only four hours. I definitely would give him 5 stars for the job he did.. Also we met with Matt and Ivan earlier in the week. They researched what work would have to be done to replace a furnace. Fantastic experience with the two gentlemen who performed a walkthrough of our renovation project. They listened to our concerns completely before jumping in like most contractors I have know and they did not try to immediately solve a misunderstood problem. They were objective in the assessment and used math to know if the system was in balance, not something others have bothered to do. Ultimately, they answered every question we had in full, they knew the codes and regulations and were very considerate and kind when speaking to us. Great group to work with!!!

Great team! I had to have my furnace replaced. It was in a small cramped attic and it was not an easy job. Tanner and the other guy he was with (I never got his name) knocked it out fast and were friendly and professional. Shawna did a great job guiding me and helping me deal with the insurance company and mellissa is great too!

After hours technician on Saturday was on time and quickly diagnosed our problem with our furnace. Needed a new control board, not available until Monday at a reasonable price (could have chosen to pay extra to get it on Saturday). He showed us how to manually light the furnace, which worked well until Monday. Got a prompt call this Monday morning with the quote, and they'll come fix it asap. I can't say enough great things about Hurliman. One of the best experiences I've ever had with service technicians, installers and salespeople. They took what we initially felt was going to be a terrible situation and turned it around for us in less than 24 hours. Kyle, Matthew, Ivan and Matt were all great to work with. Every appointment we had, they arrived on time at the beginning of the timeframe given, were genuine and respectful of our family and home, explained everything clearly, gave us very reasonable options, and did a next-day major installation after diagnosing our HVAC issue. Thank you all so much for your service and expertise! I feel I should also note to anyone out there who may have had a prior bad experience years ago like we did -- give them another try. They are under new family ownership, and it's very clear from their current employees and the professionalism of their materials and branding that it's a whole new and much better business now. Absolutely thrilled! The entire process with Hurliman Heating & Air Conditioning exceeded my expectations. From their prompt arrival on Wednesday to providing a bid, accepting it on Thursday, and having everything installed by Friday – it was unbelievably fast! I had braced myself for a two to three-week wait elsewhere. The communication was outstanding, with follow-up emails and texts at every step. They even sent photos of the technicians, and Kyle Miller, who worked on our furnace and humidifier, was exceptional. He was not only quick and hardworking but also kind and informative. Kyle went above and beyond by installing a complimentary carbon monoxide sensor and leaving the area spotless. Choosing Hurliman was a decision I don't regret. I initially planned to get another bid but decided to stick with them due to their professionalism and attentive service. My home is now warm and cozy, especially appreciated on a snowy day. Technicians were super friendly and easy to work with. Came out and fixed my furnace within 3 hours of making the call. Excellent service!

Called them on a Friday because our furnace went out, and Matt was there to give us an estimate that same day. He took the time to learn what we really needed rather than upsell or push for a bigger system. He wasn't pushy at all, and walked through everything from equipment to what an install would include with my husband right there. We called to schedule the following Monday, and they installed the next day. Mitch did a complete furnace install on his own, and did a wonderful job! He was on time, respectful, knowledgeable, and left the place super clean! He had everything he needed to get the job done in his truck, which was a bonus. He also upgraded the thermostat. All in all, this company knows what they are doing, from start to finish!

I can assure you these folks come when they say, do the work you ask them to do, don’t do work that does not need to be done, respect your home, very professional, and someone you can invite into your home and feel comfortable having them there. Cade and Cameron were an hour early which was fine with me because of a commitment that I had later in the day. They were professional and courteous. They did a fine job. Except they forgot to leave me with some stickers that I need for my warranty activation. I would give them 5 stars.

Mathew was very courteous. When he arrived, he listened to everything that I had to say about researching the symptoms myself before I made a claim with the warranty company. He explained everything that he was going to be doing before he did it. He checked the AC unit outside and then went into my basement to check that unit. He told me that I had a large pressure leak and proceeded to track it down. He found it in the basement and he had me come downstairs to show me where it was. I give him 5 stars!! He was a pleasure to have at my home.

Honestly, it's so hard to pay for stuff like this as it is very frustrating when things go wrong. From the moment I contacted Hurliman, there have been ups and downs with my equipment but I have to say at this point I will go nowhere else. The front office is super nice and communicative. They really care about your needs and seek to take good care of you and get your equipment serviced as soon as possible. It doesn't stop there though. I have had Cameron at my house twice and Kristopher once. Both of them are awesome and completely professional. They care about taking care of the customer. They also make sure the job is done right. Although I hope I don't have to call them back soon, if I have needs with my furnace or A/C I will call and request Cameron or Kristopher for sure. Thank you all for taking something so frustrating and making it easier to get through.

Cameron came out and was the most professional HVAC person I've ever had come out. He checked things nobody else has ever checked or looked at. It sounds corny but it felt like he treated me like he would a friend. Gave great advice and even set my thermostat. He needs a raise in pay! 8^)

This is the second time they've come to our home in the last year (not their fault, our home is 21 years old, we purchased it a year ago and there were some issues which needed to be worked out). Both times Eric was our serviceman and he was professional, friendly and explained everything really well. He worked efficiently, offered us some suggestions and we would recommend him and the business to anyone looking for good, reliable service.

The receptionist was able to get me in quickly as my furnace was out in the heat! Cameron showed up on time. Was very efficient and knowledgeable. Found that the furnace motor was out…This was a home warranty claim which is usually a pain and can take 2 weeks at times (I have rentals and have experienced delays) as the furnace company has to get approval for the work which is a process. Instead of going through the long process, Cameron took it on, Expediting the paperwork and followed up w the warranty company for approval. He showed up the same day with a new motor and installed it. Put everything back together and now we have cold air pumping! He was so modest about going above and beyond. Thank you so much from reception to the service tech. Great company!

Jerry arrived ahead of schedule and took extra effort to confirm my A/C problem. Even though it was not good news, he took a lot of additional steps to diagnose the problem. Very happy with the overall customer service.

I got a service the day after my request. Eric showed up on time, detected the issue and replaced the defective component (Nest thermostat). He was very competent, polite and patiently, replying any question I had. We are very satisfied.

After our old A/C stopped working and the company we had been working with failed to repair it or offer us an estimate for a new unit, we decided to look elsewhere. We wanted a Carrier A/C since we had received great reports from trusted family members. When I called the NATIONAL Carrier number and asked for a qualified representative in the Spokane Valley area, they recommended Hurliman and told me that they had recently received a special award for their quality of service. I then called Hurliman and their response amazed me. They said they would have someone come to our home the very next day. Matt Shandy came, promptly, evaluated our situation, gave us several options to choose from and we were able to order a new unit that same day. Now, this week, just as temperatures are beginning to increase and we really want a new A/C, Mitchell Fowler and Hunter came 2 days in a row and installed a new Carrier unit. it is so quiet compared to our old A/C and it requires only half the electricity as our old A/C, so we are expecting reduced utility costs, while using a more efficient, superior product. We have been extremely pleased with Hurliman's responsiveness and the professionalism of their personnel. We will be recommending them to all of our family and friends who may have need to seek the services of a heating &/or A/C company.

Matthew arrived as scheduled and communicated well. The day the blower motor arrived he and a co-worker immediately came to install it. It took 4 hours and he had to leave at one point to get additional parts. As I have been heating with space heaters for 2 weeks while waiting for the blower motor to arrive, I appreciated the fact he made the extra effort to complete the job in one day. Jerry did an outstanding job locating the issues with the furnace. He was very professional in explaining how certain parts and units worked together and what part needed fixed immediately. He offered alternative ways to address the issue until we heard back on the insurance warranty so I could keep my home heated while waiting for an authorization for the work to be done. My furnace needed to be replaced and everyone from Hurliman was awesome. Eric in sales was very professional and helpful in choosing my new furnace. He got my installation scheduled for the next day which I greatly appreciated since I had been without heat for 5 days. And the day of the installation I had Bart and Kade as the technicians installing my new furnace. They were both very professional and did an awesome job. Called for our furnace turning off and back on in brief intervals. Mathew D. came and found a crack in our heat exchanger. (The unit was original to the house and 25 years old). Matt professionally explained the issue and regretfully explained it needed to be decommissioned. Luckily we have other means of heat, and i truly appreciate Matt’s level of detail and caution when approaching safety issues like this. Kudos to Matt! Just made the company a long term customer!

Kurtis Bishop was on time, Respectful, Polite and Very Knowledgeable. He Diagnosed the problem right away and found other problems with the unit. He explained to me what the problems were and worked diligently to solve the problem. A replacement part had to be ordered and had it installed within a day. He truely enjoys his job! I would give Kurtis a 10 and an end of year bonus. I will definitely tell friends and neighbors about Kurtis and Hurliman Heating.

Sean was very professional. We were not happy with the outcome and he remained very nice and professional. After thinking about it later we were thankful that we hadn’t had a serious problem due to the crack in the furnace. We have had this company out in the past and have always been great to work with.

Mathew Driscoll is a great representative for Hurliman. Actually, he was ahead of schedule and called to see if was okay to show up ahead of scheduled time which it was. We did this under our home insurance coverage so cannot speak to "Good value" other than the cost of our coverage through coverage was a good value.

Mitch and Bart did a wonderful job on our installation. They were very professional, kept the house clean and free from excess dust while cutting in the duct work, and answered all of my questions. We were very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them.

Matthew performed our furnace maintenance and showed me the part that would most likely fail within the winter season. This wasn’t any surprise tibia as we had figured we would replace the furnace this year. Chance and Jared showed up on the installation side later that week with the new unit. Mitchell and his partner Bart were timely, professional, and got right to it. They replaced furnace, inside coils, flex duct for intake. They provided EXCELLENT service and completed the job in less time than I expected. And cleaned up after themselves. I would certainly use them again.

Hurliman has become my "go-to" business for anything related to my HVAC system because of Eric Jordan's professionalism and expertise while repairing my A/C. Eric not only fixed the problem, he educated me on my whole system. For example I had many of my vents closed that were supposed to be open. Eric also came to fix my A/C just after he was done for the day, in triple digit heat. I believe this was arranged by Shauna who answered the phones. I much appreciated this as I would have gone through the weekend without A/C.

Theron was very knowledgeable and very helpful in what he needed to do when he got to our home. He was very professional and explained to me what he was doing. Should I need his services again I will absolutely contact him.

Tanner and Cade were prompt and efficient. They finished earlier than planned, answered all my questions, and cleaned up the piping from the previous furnace install. It looks really good, and the A/C is quiet! I won't actually run the furnace just yet, but the trial went well.

Eric Jordon of Hurliman Heating and Air Conditioning made two visits to service our main furnace, “out building” climate unit (combined AC/Heating), and gas fire place. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He answered all of our questions and was very patient in both explaining and showing us how to properly run our units. He left all work areas clean. His service was outstanding and we will definitely use Hurliman again (requesting Eric!).

Great service. It was a minor problem but they were able to identify it quickly. Seemed be very knowledgeable. I was able to get quick service on one of the hottest days of the year just before a holiday so I am pleased. Service tech was Shawn-not sure of the name of the other tech with him.

Gas line installation. Highly recommend the services of Hurliman Heating and Bart Matterson. They were able to get me scheduled for work withing a couple of days. They showed up on time and coordinated the services of the City Inspector and permitting while they were on site. They kept a clean workspace and answered any questions or concerns that I had. They completed the work within a couple of hours and charged me the price estimated/quoted without trying to upsell their services. We have used this company since we moved into this house in 2004. The company was small back then and if I remember correctly the owner was the one that did the work that day. So glad that they have grown. That are good for Spokane.

My wife and I usually don't do surveys or product responses but this is a review of a personal nature to determine what kind of rating for Kurtis Bishop is warranted. If we could give him 10 stars, we would. He was tasked to service our heating and A/C systems for our personal residence and also for our rental. He was very knowledgeable and his expertise showed. He found a problem and even though it required a part that is no longer produced due to the age of our system he found a way to revamp it and made it work better. He explained the workings of a number of items that I had not realized before that can aid in preventative measures in the future. Very professional. Who does that nowadays? At our rental he not only did the required maintenance in a cramped space without complaint he also assisted me in removing some old metal runs (heating duct pipes) that your company replaced earlier with insulated flexible piping. It didn't take very long to pull them out but that was something that the previous crew was supposed to have done and did "not" do. I believe that technician, in charge, who previously did that job is no longer with your company, I can understand why. As far as I'm concerned Kurtis is what I would refer to as a "keeper". First, I want to say that I'm rating the ability of our tech, which is worthy of five stars. The ability to get a hold of Hurliman was a nightmare, culminating ultimately in 10 or so calls, two unreturned voicemails (left over the course of a week), and finally a walk-in visit to the office during our work day to just get access to a human. I totally understand that a very hot summer is going to be the crazy season for any AC/heating company, but holy moly, we were beginning to wonder if they had gone out of business and hadn't disconnected their phones. Moving on to the actual service... Once we actually made contact with Hurliman, we were quickly connected with Eric Jordan, who was an awesome professional to work with. He arrived promptly on time, offered to wear shoe covers in my house (meant a lot to a me, since I had just mopped), and was in and out very quickly. At the end of his work, he explained to me and my husband in detail what he had done, answered all my husband's tech-y questions, and provided a well written summary for our records. We felt he was very honest and easy to understand, two qualities we don't always see in combination. He was at our house to replace a faulty pump that was installed last year by Hurliman, and we appreciated that Hurliman upgraded our faulty device without charge (the faulty pump caused damage to our house and we will update this review once we are finished talking to Hurliman about full resolution). We are thrilled to have our AC back online, and feel confident about the expertise of the person who did the job. We expect that Hurliman will sort out the bugs in their calling system, and we will likely return in the future should we need further services.

Eric did a great job working the water pump discharge from side of the furnace. He took a time to explained to me what was the issues on leaking water. The only thing I was a little disappointed was the Scheduler in the your office did not put for tune up clean the furnace. Eric, only aware of the water leak repair. It cost me $163.79 dollars 35-45 minutes repair.

Giving this a 5 star only because Theron was quick responsive and repaired the issue in a timely manner. However, the company itself claims they have a guarantee but what exactly is that guarantee? They don’t guarantee their work from before management was changed apparently. Our AC unit was installed by Hurliman when the house was built. We had 4 good summers with no issues. This summer the system was not running efficiently. There was a micro leak found which had been draining for a long time. Evidence of residue all over. Had more than one opinion from other professionals stating this leak should have been identified during the original installation. So what is the guarantee? 1 year? 5 year? 10 year? Who knows? Either way I’m out $1600 now. Would like to see management clarify what guarantee they have on their workmanship. Thanks Theron you get a 5 star.

Hurliman Heating & Cooling replace my hot water tank and my furnace a few years ago and did a great job! So when my air conditioner needed replacing, I turned to them again. Blake came out and evaluated my home so that he could give me his expert recommendations for a new unit. My home can be challenging since it’s a split level and temperatures vary greatly between the floors. He was able to give me 2 options. Either a one or two stage air conditioner. I chose the 2 stage because of the varying temps. Tanner and Brandon came out to do the installation of the new unit and a new, much more advanced thermostat with a extra sensor for down stairs. These guys were so very professional. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. I was worried that they may not be able to finish the job in one day, but that was no problem for them. They were fast and efficient workers. Tanner not only finished up the job, but he also installed the thermostat and got it set up on line for me! I now have a “smart home!” He also gave me instructions on how to adjust the temperature. I couldn’t be more pleased! They left no mess behind. And every part of the job was completed. Once the new air conditioner was turned on, my house cooled down in no time at all. I highly recommend using Hurliman Heating and Air. Their quality of service, the professionalism of their staff, their work ethics and skills and the best products will surpass any other company. They are the best!

I have used hurliman through the years. There bids for new systems have been the cheapest, yet their service and quality r high. This visit was just a preventive maintenance of an older unit. Shawn was excellent. Explained what he was doing. Very respectful

Excellent service. The gal that scheduled the appointment was lovely and very helpful. Cameron our service tech was great. Found the problem immediately and had us up and running as soon as parts were available. Highly recommend.

Theron did an excellent job! He started at square one by unwrapping the unit for the season and even folded the cover and put it in the garage. It wasn't working but he got it started. Since my AC is pretty old, he did a great job of getting it working but also talked about getting a sales rep to contact me about a quote for a new system in the near future.

There were a few glitches but everything was taken care of very quickly. We wanted to especially thank Brandon DeChenne for his incredible help. Brandon went above and beyond. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and got everything working perfectly. We would highly recommend the company solely on his help alone.

Shawn showed up a week early due to a cancellation and I could not have been more grateful! He answered ALL my questions and was quick to diagnose the problem and get things changed and up and running. He was kind and respectful in my home and to my dog who was very curious and followed him through the house. The office staff was wonderful! I called nearly every day to see if there had been a cancellation and possibility of my appointment being moved up earlier than the more than 10 day wait time I was scheduled for. What relief when she called me to say they could come a week early! I was very appreciative and will recommend this company. My thermostat trouble was paid by my home warranty so I can not speak to value but the respect they showed in my house was a big “value” to me.

Absolutely fantastic company. Called and informed of the problem with my A/C. Office couldn't have been better. Prompt call back and techs were here within hours. Techs found problem and quickly fixed it. Informed of cost for parts and labor. I wish other companies could be be as professional, courteous and prompt as they are. Mathew was earlier than expected, ( great) he set up his equipment and put the system through the paces, couldn't find signs of leak. Other service was offered but I declined as it would not solve the current problem. We agreed to fill system and run it until fall, A/C is running great , keeps up even in 95 plus heat. Its been three years since system had been serviced. Very pleased with the service.

Faced with 3 to 5 days of cold weather, my furnace quit working. This company got a technician out within 24 hours and didn’t consider it an emergency rate call. Cameron was professional and polite during his visit. He seemed knowledgeable when explaining the issue and even gave me an education on filters. I’d use these guys again.
